Below is historical information. Information on this page may be useful but some NH DHHS guidance is no longer in force. For current guidance, please see Reopening, and visit the NH DHHS COVID-19 web page for Long Term Care Facilities.
Q: Can we allow tours of our facility for potential new residents and their families?
A: See DHHS’s Reopening Guidance for LCTFs (note this is a historical document, this guidance no longer in effect as of 5/6/21).
Facilities wanting to make a case for tours should check with DHHS. We know an exception has been made on a case by case basis. A facility that wants to discuss this with DHHS should have some data in hand:
County Data: COVID-19 prevalence and test positivity (reminder: data sources are in one place on the NH Covid Alliance Senior Support team main page.
Facility Data: % of residents and staff vaccinated
